Previous years' competition results are available below:

Competition Rules and Regulations

  1. Each member can enter up to 2 slides and 4 prints in any club competition. The top scoring entry will count towards the "Colour Shield", the "Black and White Shield", the "Veale Trophy" and the "Photographer of the Year" award. This excludes the "AGW" competition, for which two slides will both count and the highest total wins.
  2. Slide entries must be correctly marked with a spot on the bottom left corner, and must have the owners name clearly marked.
  3. Entries must be handed in to the competition secretaries by 8:15 pm otherwise the entry fee will be doubled.
  4. Any slide or print that has been used in an internal competition cannot be used in another internal competition other than in the slide or print of the year competitions. However, slides or prints used in external competitions are eligible for internal competitions.
  5. B&W or colour competition prints may be trade processed and should have a maximum mount size of 20" X 16", unless stated otherwise.
  6. All entries for "Print and Slide of the Year" must be handed in at least one week prior to the competition. No exceptions. A maximum of two may be entered in each category.
