The club’s competition got off to a great start with a huge number of entries to the first competition.

In the colour print competition, 1st place was taken by Jill Davies’ photograph of a mountain reflected in a lake.

Pam Fisher’s evocative image of a cowboy riding out of a book of Ansel Adams photography came second.

Third place went to Marie Rollitt’s sea eagle image.
