The club’s competition got off to a great start with a huge number of entries to the first competition.

First place went to Don Jacklin’s image of sunlight shining through the mist in Yellowstone.

Second place went to Ian Smith’s sombre image of the railway’s end at Auschwitz-Birkenau.

Darren Worthy’s photograph of the spiral statue in the Shepherd Homes building development behind Chesterfield train station took third place.
