Our competition year began with the annual AGW Open projected image competition.

First place went to Paul Beckett’s image capturing the atmosphere of the Eiger, the Mönch and the Jungfrau.

Second place was taken by Ian Mateer’s beautifully minimalist image of Sycamore Gap near Hadrian’s Wall.

Third place was shared by Darren Worthy’s colourful close-up of a pencil and David Barnett’s close up of small fungi.
