Club members are invited to submit a selection of up to six of their favourite images taken in 2022 and talk about what they feel makes
them special.
Any subject is acceptable, the image may be “photoshopped” or otherwise manipulated.
This is for the AGW award and both images count for scoring for the trophy. However, only your highest scoring entry will be counted for the Photographer of The Year competition.
As always with projected competitions, you can enter 2 images. sized to 1400 x 1050 pixels.

Club member Ian Smith will be showcasing his splendid travel photography and demonstrating how he turns selections of his images into a photobook to provide a keepsake of memorable trips.
Heather Burns visits the club to give a talk about her photography.
Heather is passionate about inspiring others to ‘think out of the box’ and push their photography as far as their imagination will allow.
The first half will showcase a wide range of images from gig photography, promo work for bands, portraiture and landscapes along with some examples of panel work for the Guild of Photographers.
The second half of the evening will be spent looking at how composite images are put together with information on how simple effects can be created and how it can make a huge impact to your images.

As always with print images, members can enter 2 images into the colour competition and 2 entries into the monochrome competition.

particularly appeal to them and share sample images of their work.
Derek Doar makes a welcome return to the club to talk about his most recent prints shot in Colour, B&W and infra-red. He will share decisive moments that inspired him with some stories of the moments and some of the technical details of how some of the images were taken.
