The return of the annual inter-club competition between Chesterfield, Dronfield and Matlock clubs at St Thomas’s Church

Friend of the Club, Phil Newman of Bolsover CC, returns to treat us to another of his entertaining talks concerning a mixed variety of mini-photo projects that is continually being adding to, covering several genres and full of useful tips.
Club members show off their Photoshop and editing skills by showing their edits to the images distributed earlier in the year.
We’re looking for photos containing pairs or doubles. So two similar items, or two people in the image.
As always with print images, members can enter 2 images into the colour competition and 2 entries into the monochrome competition.
Your chance to try out still life and macro photography. Don’t forget to bring subjects, tripods and, of course, your camera!
Ian Castledine returns to the Club to treat us to another entertaining talk showcasing his selection of his street and night time images.
A walkabout to capture images of bluebells.
Images that concentrate on the more abstract side of photography, with the key characteristic being the shapes and patterns of the image rather than the specific subject.
As always with projected competitions, you can enter 2 images. sized to 1400 x 1050 pixels.

Chris Stone’s talk starts around Derbyshire and the Peak District landscape, then heads East into Nottinghamshire, Lincolnshire
and their towns. Rutland Water and Rivers Witham, Welland and Great Ouse are featured and the talk finishes around the North Sea Coast and The Wash.
