Sept Fauna and Flora Mono

September saw our annual Fauna and Flora competition. This year the format was projected images.

In the mono side of the competition first place went to Neil Frith’s detailed shot of a dragonfly.

A dragonfly captured mid‑flight, its wings sharply detailed and symmetrical in a high‑contrast black‑and‑white close‑up.

David Barnett’s contemplative chimpanzee came second.

Third place went to a monochrome sunflower showing the detail of the seed head by Darren Worthy.
