June’s print competition saw photos of a wide range of transport options entered by club members.
In the monochrome side of the competition, it seemed that images of vintage vehiclkes were popular.
First place went to Dave Jones’ image of an old motorbike.
Darren Worthy’s photo of a steam train thundering towards the photographer came second.
Third place was taken by Nick Wheat’s image of a Lockheed Electra plane.

In the colour side of the competition, first place went to David Barnett’s beautiful image of a boat.
It was a good month for David, with his image of jets from the Dambusters squadron, coming in second.
Third place was shared by two long exposure images by Mandy Hodgson. One from Dronfield train station and one of a city centre tram.
The theme of May’s projected image competition was Odd One Out.
Darren Worthy’s quirky cat mugs and Neil Frith’s bulbs and sand both came joint 1st.
It was also a close race for third place, with Dave Jones’ spiky and smooth still life, and Nick Wheat’s Red Arrows and guest both coming joint 3rd.

Second place went to David Barnett’s Old Master style still life.
Dave Jones’ nail collection came in third.
April’s print competition saw some striking images of buildings across the UK and beyond entered by club members.
In the monochrome side of the competition first place went to Neil Frith’s view of the Spinnaker Tower.
It was a good month for Dave Jones with his images of buildings belonging to the Universities of Nottingham and Sheffield taking joint second place!
