Matlock based landscape photographer, Greg Thurston’s work is inspired by the natural surroundings of the nearby Derbyshire Dales & Peak District and the positive effect it has on his mental health. He finds the peace of solitude of landscape photography a tonic for the soul and his wish is that his work will elicit the same feeling in the viewer. Greg has always been drawn to more intimate scenes, rather than wide sweeping landscapes that are so traditional of the Peak District. He is not tied to any one style or genre of landscape photography, allowing him the freedom to express himself.
