This month saw a huge variety of photos entered into the macro / close up competition – from extreme macro shots of insects to close ups showing the subject in its environment.

First place went to Nick Wheat’s shot from Horsleygate Hall.

Tony Godwin’s focus-stacked pocket watch took second place.

Third place went to Steve Murphy’s painterly flower still life.
